The
Probus club organizes walks around the year, dependent upon the weather
in the
winter. If we cannot walk, we cross country ski in the winter. In the
summer we
also canoe.
This
activity
is
normally
on
the
third
Wednesday
of
each
month
and
we
generally
meet
at the parking lot next to the Manotick Library at 9.30 a.m. This gives
us the
opportunities to car pool in the event we are traveling some distance.
Some of
the activities include a picnic lunch or a visit to a restaurant.
Activities
include
walks
in
the
Gatineau
park, especially in October to see the fall colours, canoeing on the
Rideau ,
local walks and cross country skiing in the Green areas.
